Help Identify Assailants in Last Sunday’s Pipe Attack On East 19th Street

KINGS HIGHWAY — The New York City Police Department is looking for help to identify two men, who hit another man in the head with a metal pipe last Sunday evening.

It was reported to the police that the incident took place on Sunday, August 27, 2017 around 11:30pm in front of 1728 East 19th Street, just south of Quentin Road.

Two individuals approached a 53-year-old man who was walking south on East 19th Street when he was struck in the head with a metal pipe.  The victim was transported to the New York Community Hospital where he received stitches to the back of his head.

Police describe the first individual as a man, last seen wearing a black shirt, black hooded sweatshirt with a zipper in the front and a hat,

The second individual was last seen wearing a red shirt with white writing on the front, gray shorts, black sneakers with white soles and a black book bag.
