Help Cops Find Package Thief In South Slope Area

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the above surveillance video in connection to a series of burglaries in South Slope and Windsor Terrace.

The suspect uses a screwdriver to break into the front door of buildings to gain access into the lobbies where he steals delivered packages, police say.

Incident 1: At approximately 10:15pm on Monday, May 1, the individual entered a residential building located on 19th Street and took off with two packages from the lobby.

Incident 2: At approximately 5:30am on Wednesday, May 31, the individual entered a residential building located on Windsor Place and walked away with one package from the lobby.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 5’8″ to 5’10” tall. He was last seen wearing a hoodie and jeans.
