Help Beautify Glenwood Road, Avenue H & Newkirk Plaza With Bulbs Next Saturday

Are you one of our local green thumbs? Then help neighbors turn soil, plant bulbs, and spread compost and mulch around our area next Saturday, October 5.

Volunteers should meet at the Glenwood Road dead end (between the subway tracks and Rugby Road) at 10am to plant there, as well as transport materials to the Avenue H subway station and Newkirk Plaza.

There will be tools and wheelbarrows provided, but wear something comfortable that you’re okay getting dirty, and prepare to make the neighborhood a more beautiful place!
