Help A PS 295 Parent Who Suffered Two Strokes
John Morris

PS 295 parent John Morris could use some community support. He recently suffered two strokes which left him with major damage in his brain, leaving him legally blind and in need of occupational, mental, and physical therapy.

His wife Janice and son Conn have a gofundme page set up to raise money to help them pay for the necessary rehab and therapy.

“We are trying to raise money to help with John’s medical bills, deductibles, and co-pay, medicines, and monthly expenses plus the support of his rehabilitation to help get his eyesight working better as medically possible,” they write.

They’ve currently raised about $3,000 of the $15,000 goal.

“We so appreciate your support and will be grateful for anything that you can help with,” they add.

“It only takes a moment, and every little bit helps,” PS 295 encouraged on its Facebook page, before a fundraiser they held for John last week, which, they note, “put a big smile on his face!”

If you’re able to help, you can make a donation at gofundme.
