We just got some updated details about the fundraiser for 773 Lounge, a beloved bar that’s been in our neighborhood for decades and which was destroyed by a fire in November.

The fundraiser, which will revolve around a theme of “A Night in Killarney,” will be held from 7pm-11pm on Saturday, January 24 at St. Thomas Aquinas, located at at 1501 Hendrickson Street. It will cost $50 per person for admission, which includes an open bar and buffet, plus live music and a DJ.

There will be lots of differently themed raffle baskets, as well as large value items, including artwork, sports memorabilia, and more, which will be be raffled off. Plus, there will be a 50/50 raffle – which means 50 percent of the proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will go to the winner. You don’t have to be present at the fundraiser to win, and you can pick up 50/50 tickets at Visions Cocktail Lounge (752 Coney Island Avenue) on Thursday nights, when Diana and Mike, who both worked at 773, bartend there. You can also pick up admissions tickets to the events then.

For more information about raffle and admission tickets, you can go to 773 Lounge’s Facebook page or contact 773 Lounge owner Margaret Cain by emailing cainm24@icloud.com or calling 347-534-7619.

And, if you can’t get to the January 24 event, you can help support 773 Lounge’s rebuilding efforts by going to their fundraising campaign here.
