Hello, Snow.
There is a thoroughly unpleasant mix of cold rain, snow and slushy stuff falling around the area right now and, if this guy on 5th Avenue and 14th Street is any indication, city snowplows are at the ready.
A Winter Weather Advisory is currently in place for New York City and calls for 1-3 inches of wet snow accumulation through tomorrow.
Considering the fragile state of our trees after Sandy, especially at Green-Wood, wet snow mixed with significant wind gusts could cause some serious problems. Please be mindful of branches if you’re walking the residential streets today or tomorrow, especially if accumulation does occur.
How’s the weather outside your window? Spotted any other plows around the area?
