  • Mail will not be delivered on Thursday.
  • Parking meters and alternate side parking are suspended on Thursday. Click here for a list of street closures for the fireworks celebrations.
  • There will be no garbage, organics, or recycling pickup or street cleaning on Thursday, July 4. If Thursday is your regular garbage or organics collection day, put these items out after 4pm on Thursday. If Thursday is your regular recycling day, your recycling will be picked up next week on Thursday, July 11. Click here for more info.
  • New York City subways and buses will operate on a Saturday schedule on Thursday, July 4. There will be increased subway service on the 4, 5, A, C, and F subway lines before and after the Macy’s Fireworks Celebration. The following bus routes may be affected by street closures or detours: B25, B61, B62, B63, B67, B69, BM1, BM2, BM3, and BM4. Go to mta.info for more information.
  • The NYC Ferry will operate on a weekend schedule on both Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5. Go to ferry.nyc for details.

Bklyner is taking the day off and will be back on Friday. Have a safe and fun-filled 4th of July!
