After filing for a rezoning request from the Department of City Planning, our neighbors at Hamilton’s (2826 Fort Hamilton Parkway) are asking the community to support their request for a 45-seat sidewalk café – a proposal which will be discussed at an upcoming Community Board 7 land use committee meeting on Wednesday, November 12.

Hamilton’s writes:

Come one, come all! To the first community board meeting regarding zoning our business commercial. This is the first crucial step in allowing us to apply for a sidewalk cafe license and reopen our patio!

The November 12 meeting will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (2805 Fort Hamilton Parkway, across the street from Hamilton’s) at 6:30pm. Attendees should go to the church’s Good Shepherd Center in the building.

Again, from Hamilton’s:

We hope to see you all there. We need your support! Please come and bring everyone who ever wanted to sit outside and enjoy a meal or a drink on Hamilton’s patio.

What do you think? Would you like to see a sidewalk café outside Hamilton’s?
