Hamilton’s Bid For A Sidewalk Café Lands Green Light From CB 7 Land Use Committee

Community Board 7’s Land Use Committee unanimously voted Wednesday night to green-light a rezoning application that Hamilton’s (2826 Fort Hamilton Parkway) needs approved before they can create the 45-seat sidewalk café they’re hoping to soon offer.

We’ll have a more detailed report on the meeting soon, but we wanted to let you know about the stamp of approval. Now that land use has given it the thumbs up, the rezoning request will go before the full board at the group’s meeting next Wednesday, November 19, at 6:30pm. The meting will be held in CB 7’s board room at 4201 4th Avenue (the entrance is on 43rd Street) in Sunset Park.

Hamilton’s said in a Facebook post that neighbors who want to weigh in on the plan can send written testimony to communityboard7@yahoo.com. Be sure to put your full name and address, and Hamilton’s asks that you copy them on the email at hamiltonbkny@gmail.com.
