Gung Hay Fat Choy! Community Celebrates Lunar New Year With Annual Parade In Sunset Park

Many of our neighbors braved the cold on Sunday to watch cultural performances, lion dancers, firecrackers, and more during the annual Sunset Park Lunar New Year Parade that’s hosted by the Brooklyn Chinese-American Association.

Each year, the popular parade draws revelers from throughout Brooklyn – and beyond – to the festivities on Eighth Avenue, where the procession runs from 50th Street to 61st Street.
