Gung Hay Fat Choy! Happy Lunar New Year From Corner Media & Bensonhurst Bean

Today, February 19, marks the Chinese or Lunar New Year of 2015 and we at Bensonhurst Bean and Corner Media would like to wish all who celebrate a warm gung hay fat choy!

We said farewell to the year of the horse last night and today we welcome the year of the sheep – or ram, or goat (the word yang in Mandarin does not distinguish between the animals). The sheep is characterized by shyness, kindheartedness, loyalty, and a sense of justice.

Famous people who were born in a sheep year include Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Julia Roberts, Mick Jagger, Nicole Kidman, and Will Ferrell.
