Building Manager Falls To His Death In Gravesend

GRAVESEND – Yesterday, February 13, police responded to a 911 call at 6:00 pm regarding an unconscious man in front of 8705 Bay Parkway, near Benson Avenue.

Arriving at the scene, officers found the unresponsive body of 62-year old Daniel Wong, said police. EMS transported Wong, who lived in Sheepshead Bay, to Lutheran Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

According to the NYPD, Wong was doing exterior work on the fourth floor of the building when he slipped and fell to his death. A work filing with the Department of Buildings lists Daniel Wong as the manager of the building at 8705 Bay Parkway, which is owned by Dah Lee Trading Corp.

Police said no criminality was suspected in Mr. Wong’s death.
