Golden And Visiting Nurse Service Offer Free Flu Shots In October

According to an article in yesterday’s Home Reporter, State Senator Marty Golden and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York have disclosed that they will be offering free flu shots at the end of October.

Those eligible for flu vaccination include seniors, the uninsured, as well as anyone recommended to do so by the NYC Department of Health.

Free flu shots will be available to residents on two different occasions:

  • Monday, October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm at the Bay Ridge Manor (476 76th Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge)
  • Thursday, October 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Cort Club (2648 Gerritsen Avenue between Devon Avenue and Channel Avenue in Gerritsen Beach)

State Senator Marty Golden represents District 22, which includes Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Gerritsen Beach and Marine Park; as well as parts of Bensonhurst, Midwood, Gravesend and Sheepshead Bay.
