Get Through The Rainy Workday By Guessing The Locations Of These Old Timey Flatbush Photos

You know we got all excited last week about getting to peek at our Ditmas Park neighbors’ homes circa 1978, so we were equally thrilled yesterday when we read that the Museum of the City of New York had just added over a thousand photos of the city from the 1970s and 1980s to their online collection.

While our area seems to be lacking in photos from those two decades, we did find several much older photos of our area that we thought were worth sharing. The first photo is a bit of a giveaway, but dig in and see if you can name the locations of the rest of these pictures without looking at the answers below.

A. The Brooklyn Trust Company at Ocean and Church Avenues circa 1928, Wurts Brothers.
B. Frank Bollinger’s Meat Market at Church and Ocean Avenues circa 1900.
C. Schrafft’s at 912 Flatbush Avenue in 1930, Byron Company.
D. Flatbush Reformed Church cemetery circa 1910.
E. Interior of 130 Buckingham Road circa 1924, Wurts Bros.
F. 792-794 Coney Island Avenue in 1920, Wurts Brothers.
G. Schrafft’s alternate view.

Sure, some of those were tricky–like how many of you stopped by 130 Buckingham 90 years ago–but how many did you get without cheating?
