Get Ready For Free Thursday Nights At The Brooklyn Museum

Good news for museum fans: our very own Brooklyn Museum (200 Eastern Parkway) will be offering free admission every Thursday evening from 6-10pm, beginning on January 21.

The move comes courtesy of digital powerhouse Squarespace, which is funding the offer of free general admission. This also means Brooklyn Museum joins other museums and public spaces — such as Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s free Tuesdays — in offering a free day as a weekly perk. Brooklyn Museum already has free Target Saturdays, but those are once a month on first Saturdays.

Current exhibits at the museum include “Impressionism and the Caribbean: Francisco Oller and His Transatlantic World” through January 3 and “Coney island: Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008” through March 13.
