Do you have a middle schooler that’s ready to start thinking about that next step? The 2016 high school directory which is available online, is 650 pages full of timelines, admissions methods, and more.

But if you want — or need — more explanation and an opportunity to ask questions, the Department of Education is offering a high school admissions workshop at the Prospect Heights Educational Campus at 883 Classon Avenue near Eastern Parkway tonight at 6:30pm.

Enrollment officials will provide an introduction to the high school admissions process, including the different the types of programs offered, and give tips on how to fill out your application.

High school directories will be given out at the workshop. This year’s directory now shows the number of applicants per available seat, based on the total number of applicants who ranked the school somewhere on their application.
