Get Your Literary (& Caffeine) Fix And Hear Local Authors Read At Lit At Lark This Sunday

This Sunday, November 16, you can get your literary (and caffeine) fix while hearing neighborhood writers in author Rachel Sherman’s Ditmas Writing Workshop read their work during Lit at Lark at Lark Café (1007 Church Avenue). The readings will begin at 5pm and end around 7pm.

Lit at Lark, our area’s own literary series launched by author and neighbor Amy Shearn, draws writers from throughout our backyard – and other parts of our borough. For example, the series kicked off its second season with readings from Miranda Beverly-Whittemore and debut novelists Siobhan Adcock and Vica Miller.

This time around, the talented group that Rachel told us includes journalists, poets and artists will read selections from the short stories or novels that they’ve been working on in Rachel’s class, which also meets at Lark Café.

“We are very excited to be hosted by Lit at Lark and Amy Shearn for our final reading this session!” Rachel wrote to us.
