Get Free Mulch And Trees At Green-Wood Cemetery

Nothing says spring like new trees and mulch, so mark your calendars for Green-Wood Cemetery’s Tu-mulchuous and Tree-mendous Event, scheduled from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, March 15.

If you bring a bag, they’ll fill it with mulch for you to take home. Horticulture experts will also be on hand to answer questions about urban gardening, and best of all, the cemetery has teamed up with New York Restoration Project and MillionTreesNYC to offer free trees to the community. Do note that there are limited quantities of trees available, so if you would like to adopt one, be sure to reserve your tree today.
