The event, which will run from from 3pm to 8pm, with feature recruiters from local organizations, national businesses, the armed forces, and city government agencies, including Prudential, Walgreens, FDNY, and Total Transportation Corp.

“Many of our constituents have come to my office with their resumes, asking for assistance in finding work,” said Gentile “I know how difficult it can be to find a job in today’s market, so I’ve decided to bring employers into our community for a night and give our constituents some new opportunities for possible employment.”

Workforce 1, which provides employment services to New York City residents, will also be in attendance at the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume and dress professionally.

“I am pleased to sponsor my first job fair as councilman,” said Gentile. “We want to give people in our community the means to support themselves and their families.”
