The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is hosting the 32nd Making Brooklyn Bloom this Saturday, March 9th. Workshops, which are at 11am and 3pm, include Making Seed Bombs, Resourceful Rooftop Containers, and Save Heirloom Seeds Like a Farmer.

Making Brooklyn Bloom is free for anyone–beginning and master gardeners–who shows up with a copy of the brochure. For more information or to preregister, email greenbridge@bbg.org.

Registration is at 10:00 am.

The Greenest Block in Brooklyn will have an information table at Making Brooklyn Bloom. Sign up your home, business, or block and The Greenest Block will offer tips and support throughout the growing season. The first lucky 10 community groups registered can take advantage of specialized workshops with GBB.

A skim through last year’s winners doesn’t turn up any Kensington winners. Lets change that this year and become known for our colorful front stoops.
