From Indian Restaurant To Indian Restaurant On 7th Avenue

For those near 7th Avenue who’ve been missing a quick, convenient tikka masala for the past few months, fear not — a new Indian restaurant is coming to the space of another, former Indian restaurant on the street.

A new awning and “coming soon” sign for Indian Spice recently went up above the storefront at 351 7th Avenue, between 10th and 11th Streets, which used to be the home of Bombay Grill — though that restaurant closed back in September.

We’ve passed by several times since the sign went up but have yet to run into anyone working inside the space to find out additional details, and calls to the number on the awning (which is the same as Bombay Grill’s) have not been answered. Anyone know if it’s the same or new owners, or when they might open?
