Updated: Friendly Cat Found In Ditmas Park West

Updated Thursday, 11:45pm: Great news! Cathy just let us know that Luna’s owner has been found. We’re so happy to hear they’ve been reunited!

Original post: Many thanks to neighbor Cathy for letting us know that this super friendly female cat was recently trapped in Ditmas Park West as part of a neighborhood Trap Neuter Return (TNR) project.

This gal, who’s being called Luna, is extremely social and purrs happily while being petted, our neighbor said.

While she has no collar and isn’t microchipped, Cathy and the folks at Brooklyn Animal Action hope to track down the owner – or, if there is no owner, she hopes to find someone who’s able to foster and/or adopt this lovely cat.

For now, Luna is being cared for by the wonderful folks at Brooklyn Animal Action, a volunteer organization.

If this is your cat or you’d like to foster/adopt, please contact Cathy by calling 917-723-7312 or email aksc@earthlink.net.
