Friday’s Crime Blotter: Subway Lewdness, Gunpoint Robbery, And Thefts

NYPD has released information on a number of suspects in crimes that took place in the second half of November.

  • The early morning commute was not a pleasant one for at least one passenger on the Manhattan-bound “R” train on Thursday, November 16.

A 31-year-old woman reported the man in surveillance photos above who sat down next to her with his pant zipper open, and proceded to exposed his penis while staring at her. When the train arrived at the Pacific Street station the individual stood up, zipped up his pants and walked off the train, police inform us. The man is in his 30s, 150 to 160lbs, with a beard; last seen wearing a black coat with a fur-lined hood and dark colored pants. If you recognize him, call the tip line.

  • NYPD is looking to identify two men in black regarding a robbery just before Thanksgiving on Clarendon Road (67th Precinct).

That Monday, November 20, 2017 at approximately 11:45 am in the rear of 5804 Clarendon Road, a 55-year-old man was about to enter his car when he was approached by the two suspects, in their twenties, and asked to surrender a bag he was holding. When he refused, as the bag contained about $10,000 cash, one of the individuals pulled out a black gun at him at which point the victim handed over the bag. They also took his cell phone, and judging from the video – came back for the watch. Wonder if they realized it was all being captured on tape in full color. If you recognize them, call the tip line.

  • Another one from the 67th, the week after Thanksgiving. This man is suspected of stealing $2,500 cash form a bag that was left unattended on a desk at 1421 Nostrand Avenue. The crime took place around noon on Thursday, November 30, 2017.

The individual they are looking for is a young man in his twenties, wearing a black baseball cap, grey hooded sweatshirt, red jacket, camouflage pants and white sneakers. See surveillance photo above.
