CONEY ISLAND – Police are looking for the man who burglarized the Jerusalem Mexican Deli Grocery in Coney Island last weekend.

Just after midnight on Saturday, April 21, the suspect gained entry to the building at 2002 Mermaid Avenue by climbing through a window, said police. Inside, he grabbed $800 cash and a safe before fleeing west on Mermaid Avenue.

Surveillance footage of the suspect can be seen below:

BENSONHURST – Last week, a Bensonhurst woman found an unwanted guest trying to open her back window, but scared the man off instead.

Police said the woman, who lives near 20th Avenue and 72nd Street, found the man trying to break into her house through a back window near the fire escape. Surprising the potential burglar, she yelled at the man and took a cell phone video, said police.

Luckily, the suspect fled, but police are looking for him in connection with the attempted burglary. In the video, you can see the surprised say, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry—I’m trying to get to my house.” Seems like too little too late for someone caught on video trying to break in.

BAY RIDGE – Finally, police are searching for another subway masturbator, this one caught on a southbound R train heading to 86th Street in Bay Ridge last month.

On Friday, March 30th, around 6:30 pm, the man sat across from a 41-year old woman an engaged in the act of public lewdness. The victim was able to snap pictures with her cell phone before exiting the train at 86th street, while the pervert stayed on.

Pictures of the man can be seen below:
