Fresh Fix Replaces Crespella On 8th Avenue
In what seems like a pretty quick turnover, the corner of 8th Avenue and Prospect Avenue lost Crespella but gained Fresh Fix recently.
Coffee shop and creperie Crespella opened their second location at this spot at 1658 8th Avenue in November 2012 — their first location, on 7th Avenue near 9th Street, closed last summer after four years in that space. We’ll miss all the great things they did with Nutella, and wish Maria and her crew the best.
And for those who may have enjoyed a bit too much Nutella with us, we’ve now got an extensive healthy menu to get us back on track with the new space, Fresh Fix. From fresh fruit smoothies to salads, omelets, and “chicken power plates,” they’ve got some nice options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner — perhaps particularly if you’re heading home after a workout at the nearby Armory. They’ve also got coffee (including, ahem, a Nutella latte).
They’re open daily from 9am-8pm, and they deliver, via Seamless or by calling 718-768-0500.
