Looking for neat things to do with your kids during next week’s Spring Break?

Science workshops for school-age children are being offered next Monday (4/25) and Wednesday (4/27) at the Cortelyou Library in Ditmas Park. Both workshops are at 2pm.

The workshops are courtesy of School Break Science, a free program which provides the young scientists in our community with meaningful opportunities to explore science when public school is not in session.

Young scientists 6 and up are welcome to take part in fun, engaging science experiments that incorporate art exploration. The hands-on, STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, art, math) approach allows children to experience science in a new way.

Free limited tickets are available at the main desk of the Cortelyou Library starting at 1pm on the date of each workshop.

School Break Science — a program of non-profit Kiddie Science — is provided with support from the Brooklyn Public Library, the Friends of Cortelyou Library, and individual donors.
