Free Kids’ Woodworking Class Tomorrow

This Saturday’s soiree on 3rd Street between 6th and 7th Aves is going to have a free kids woodworking class taught by local artist Bernette Rudolph (adults also welcome). We’re not saying block parties are a competition or anything, but as activities go, this is one of the swankier ones we’ve heard about.
The class meets in front of 457 3rd Street at 1pm, and while the flyer isn’t explicit about it, it seems like you don’t even have to live on the block to attend — we spotted the notice in Jonathan Blum’s studio window on 5th between 1st and 2nd.
