A Freak Accident on West 7th in Gravesend Takes A Life
This morning around 10am, a man died from crushing his head between his car and a tree on West 7th Street, just off of Kings Highway in Gravesend.
Xin Zheng Lin, 52, of Manhattan, had stuck his head out while reversing a Toyota Minivan, and hit the tree, according to the police. Mr. Lin was transported to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There were no other vehicles involved or injuries reported as a result of this incident. An investigation is being conducted by NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.
