Franny’s Owners To Open Rose’s In Former Marco’s Space Next Week
If you love Franny’s and miss Marco’s, and you’re looking for a casual, comfortable spot to grab a burger — or just a drink — on Flatbush Avenue, look out for Rose’s.
The owners of Franny’s are setting up the new bar and grill at 295 Flatbush Avenue, between St Marks and Prospect, in the former home of their upscale Italian venture Marco’s, which closed last December because, they noted at the time, it just wasn’t profitable. But they’re ready to try again with this new joint, which they’ve said on Instagram should be opening in the next week, and Eater confirms should be Wednesday.
According to Eater, they’ll be serving up burgers (that very one pictured above!), as well as things like “fried olives, cheese toast, deviled chicken, and spit pork.”
But don’t expect to swing by for a meal just any day. According to their website, they’ll only be pouring drinks and serving snacks on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the full menu available Wednesday through Sunday.
