Four Wanted by Police in Connection With String of Williamsburg Grand Larcenies

A string of grand larcenies in the 94th precinct have police searching for four individuals in connection with a pattern of crime in Williamsburg.

The first incident occurred Monday, June 26, at approximately 10:00am. Unknown individuals entered a restaurant at 135 North 5th St and stole a wallet containing credit cards belonging to a 53-year old woman, police said.

An hour and a half later, at approximately 11:30am, unknown individuals stole a wallet, credit cards, and miscellaneous items from the purse of a 37-year old female employee at a women’s clothing store a few blocks away, 129 Bedford Ave, according to police.

On Friday, June 30, in a clothing store located at 65 North 6th St, unknown individuals once again removed a wallet, credit cards and other items from the purse of a female employee, this one 20 years old, said police. The incident took place at approximately 5:00pm.

The final incident in the string occurred on Monday, July, around 5:30pm, police report. Once again at a clothing store, this time at 54 North 6th St, unknown individuals stole credit cards belonging to a 29-year old female employee, according to police.

Surveillance photos from DCPI show the individuals wanted in connection with the larcenies using credit cards from the first incident to make an unauthorized purchase at a CVS located on 338 East 23rd St. The purchases were made on June 26th at around 6:00pm, said police.
