Four Story Building Planned For 465 Vanderbilt Avenue
Permits have been approved for a new building at 465 Vanderbilt Avenue (between Gates and Greene Avenues), according to DOB records. A two family, four floor residential structure by Kew Gardens’ Shifra Construction is planned for the lot, which records indicate has been vacant since demolition of a building about 10 years ago.
Signs posted at the lot are surprisingly uninformative–a rendering for the building doesn’t give much away, and construction, (at least at the time of posting) was scheduled to wrap up in “7 months,” so considering when permits were issued, that would be… late December? Excavation has clearly been underway, although no workers were on site when we stopped by yesterday.
