Four Shot, One Killed In Bed-Stuy
BEDFORD STUYVESANT – A shooting last night turned deadly, injuring three and killing one. Police are treating it as a homicide.
On Wednesday, February 6 at about 10:26 p.m., a shooting took place in the lobby of 1778 Fulton Street. When cops arrived, they found a 20-year-old man shot in the head and chest. The young man was declared dead on the scene. The NYPD has not yet released his name.
Another 20-year-old man was shot in the torso and is in critical condition. A 55-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen and cops say she is in stable condition. Both were taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Canter. According to the NYPD, a 22-year-old woman sustained a grazed wound to the butt and is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
“The senseless violence is a tragedy in our neighborhood and we gotta learn to do better,” a Bed-Stuy resident says in the above video.
Cops say the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
