Four Kensington-Windsor Terrace Bars Named The “Best Dives” In Brooklyn
Just when we’re gearing up to get a fancy wine bar on Church Avenue, Brooklyn Magazine has gone ahead and named four KWT watering holes some of the best dive bars in Brooklyn.
The honors go to Shenanigans (802 Caton Avenue on the corner of E 8th Street) for its “decent” jukebox and local characters, Rhythm ‘n’ Booze (1647 Prospect Avenue between 10th Avenue and Fuller Place) for its cheap beer and burgers, Farrell’s (215 Prospect Park West between 15th and 16th Streets) for its old school-ness (including nostagically-eco-unfriendly drinking vessels), and Denny’s (106 Beverley Road on the corner of McDonald Avenue), well, because “it’s just about the dive-iest bar we’ve ever entered.”
Do you agree with their list, or do you think there are better options in the neighborhood?
