The Church Avenue Yoga & Bodywork Center, which is expected to open at the beginning of June, is currently looking for Licensed Massage Therapists and experienced yoga practitioners/teachers to work out of their 338 E 5th Street (between Church Avenue and Beverley Road) studio.

“I am looking for instructors that have studied with a teacher, or can identify a teacher whom they resonate strongly with. Ashtanga-based classes, as well as alignment-based vinyasa, traditional Hatha, and our friends over in Anusara land are all welcome,” says Bob of the CAYBC.

As for LMTs, Bob says he’s looking for insured professionals who are “well-versed in holistic approaches to medical/orthopedic/sports massage to work… Must be able to treat pathologies directly. Must have a comprehensive understanding of anatomy/physiology well enough to translate it to clients. Must be comfortable working with a diverse community of clients. I am ESPECIALLY looking for prenatal-certified LMTs,” he says.

If you think you’d be a good fit for either opening, or if you’re an LMT or other body-centered practitioner who’d like to learn about daily room rental rates, message the CAYBC on Facebook or write to churchave.ybc@gmail.com.
