Local bakery Piece Of Velvet will soon get its own little slice of Coney Island with a new storefront “next to Rita’s Ice on the north side of [West] 15th Street and Surf Avenue,” revealed the folks over at The Coney Island Blog.

Located at 1327 Surf Avenue, the cozy space will have its grand opening on Saturday, February 14 — aka Valentine’s Day — according to an employee at the Fort Greene location (708 Fulton Street), who also noted that the menu will feature the same cake, ice cream, cupcakes, candy and more that fans have grown to love.

Prices will also likely be similar to those at Piece of Velvet’s other locations in Fort Greene and Harlem, so that means around $6 a slice, but while not cheap, they will feed the family.

The place also typically does delivery, although we’re not sure if delivery to the Boardwalk would count.
