Fort Greene’s Bar Bolinas Brings California Heat To EaterNY List Of “Hottest Brooklyn Restaurants”

Less than two months in and Bar Bolinas is already making citywide “best of” lists. The Northern California-inspired eatery at 455 Myrtle Avenue came in at #5 on Eater NY’s “Hottest Restaurants In Brooklyn RIght Now – May 2015” list:

A restaurant with Northern California leanings in the old Maggie Brown space, from chef Nate Smith and the rest of team behind Williamsburg’s popular Allswell. There’s lots of seafood on the menu, ranging from oysters to seafood sausages, and pasta with uni, but there’s also a cheeseburger, and a steak.

Also making the list were neighborhood border darlings Willow in Bed-Stuy (506 Franklin Avenue) and Ganso Yaki in Downtown Brooklyn (515 Atlantic Avenue).

So if you haven’t already visited Bar Bolinas, you better stop by before it gets even harder to find a seat!
