Fort Greene-Clinton Hill Rental Roundup
Looking for a new place to call home? We’ve rounded up a bunch of apartments that are currently available to rent around Fort Greene and Clinton Hill — take a look at the details, and let us know what you think. Lots of luck in your search!
Sweet Studio with Outdoor Space
Available: Immediately
Price: $1,900, plus broker fee
Details: The photos of this ground floor studio are a bit lacking, but there’s not a whole lot that could turn us off a) a Fort Greene Place/Fulton Street location, b) backyard access, and c) that whole “all utilities included” thing. From what we can make out, the kitchen looks to have some pretty new appliances, as well as a cool old radiator — and is that a farmhouse sink we see? — for a healthy dose of character.

Two Bed near Fulton-y Goodness
Available: Immediately
Price: $2,250, plus broker fee
Details: This place for two looks awfully pretty, with all that natural light pouring into its rooms through multiple exposures and even a tub-flanking window — but who cares about all that when it’s $1,125 per person? We’re far from calling that a bargain in the big scheme of things, but it’s certainly the least expensive two bed we’ve seen recently. Besides its good looks and price tag, its location at Gates Avenue and Saint James Place will also land you right near multiple bus lines, the Clinton-Washington A/C, and all sorts of current and forthcoming amenities on Fulton Street.

Three/Three No Fee Duplex with Perks
Available: Immediately
Price: $4,500, no broker fee
Details: On Lexington Avenue just east of Classon, this unit in a brownstone verges into Bedford Stuyvesant — but if you’re an apartment seeker who’s no stickler for neighborhood borderlines, you might just find yourself in luck. Let’s list the good stuff: three bedrooms, three (we’re guessing gorgeous, from what we can see of one) bathrooms, a backyard, in-building (in-unit?) laundry, a gorgeous new kitchen, a damn stunning staircase, a pet-friendly attitude, and a quick walk to the G and all sorts of great grub?! Sounds like a winner even with a broker fee; without one, it’s even better.

Fancy No Fee Six Bed
Available: Immediately
Price: $5,270, plus broker fee
Details: While we could do without the whole “industrial chic” bit, this Brady Bunch-sized place near Pratt is pretty hard to deny. Sure, it’s got two and a half baths, multiple balconies, complicated finishes and features out the wazoo, and a bunch of common building recreation areas to suit everyone from pool sharks to movie buffs… but first and foremost, (no fee!) room prices could break down to under $900 per person — which we haven’t seen in a terribly, unfortunately long time.
