Foodtown on Stillwell Avenue Opens on Friday
Gravesend – Another grocery store is opening this week – this one at 1949 Stillwell Avenue between Avenues S and T on June 22nd, bringing back a grocery store to the spot where Scaturro’s used to be and that was most recently occupied by Staples.
On Friday, there will be specials and giveaways and face painting, we are told, and Assemblyman Colton and State Senator Martin Golden will be there shortly after 10 for the Grand Opening.
Workers were taking down scaffolding, and stocking shelves when we peeked in, but it is looking nice.
There is also parking, for those who need it.
