Jealous Man Kills Couple and Shoots Himself After in Flatlands

FLATLANDS — A brazen gunman opened fire on a woman and man on Sunday afternoon at 2119 Utica Avenue on November 10. The gunman took aim at his two victims just after 2 p.m.

When cops arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso trying to leave the scene, who was taken to Brookdale Hospital for treatment.

Inside the apartment were 24-year-old Jened Duncan with gunshot wounds to the head and 31-year-old Darnell Solomon with gunshot wounds to the torso. They were both unconscious and unresponsive. Both of them were taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County where they were pronounced dead.

The shooter was the ex-boyfriend of Duncan, and allegedly jealous of the couple, and was arrested after Hospital treatment, as am New York reported.
