Two Found Dead After Possible Murder-Suicide In Flatbush Apartment
FLATBUSH – Responding to a call about a stabbing at a Flatbush apartment yesterday, police in the 70th Precinct arrived to find a grisly scene that may be a murder-suicide.
At 3:30 pm on Tuesday, May 15, police entered the apartment at 1480 Flatbush Avenue, near Glenwood Road, to find a male and female, both unconscious and unresponsive, bleeding from multiple stab wounds, said police.
Arriving to the scene, EMS pronounced both the victims dead, said police. Sources told the New York Post that three knives were found beside the bodies of the deceased and that the deaths may be the result of a murder-suicide.
The names of the two victims have not yet been released, pending family notification. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and a police investigation into the situation is under way.
