This week, a sex offender has been charged with murdering his alleged girlfriend and stashing her body parts inside his freezer in Flatbush.

On Tuesday, January 17 cops found a woman’s torso and leg at a Hunt’s Point Metropolitan Transfer Station. They traced the remains to Flatbush man Somorie Moses, 40, and upon further investigation found the victim’s head and foot — which had his name tattooed on it — inside of Moses’ freezer at 185 Erasmus Street on January 22. Cops also found blood spattered around the apartment and blood-soaked clothing, reports the Post.

Somorie was first charged with ‘concealment of a human corpse’, but after further investigation, he is now facing murder charges, said cops.

The victim was identified as 32-year-old Leondra Foster.

“We in Brooklyn will seek justice for Leondra Foster, who was so tragically and brutally murdered,” said Acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez in a statement on Thursday. “Somorie Moses is now charged with second-degree murder for that heinous crime and is awaiting arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court.”

Member of Foster’s family appeared in court on Thursday and said that she had been living with Moses, who reportedly abused her, reports DNAinfo. On Thursday night, Moses was arraigned on the murder charges and ordered held without bail.

In addition, court proceedings found that Moses’ forced a sanitation worker to help him dispose of the victim’s body, reports the NY Daily News.

Moses, who news outlets are calling a pimp, is a registered Level 2 sex offender, caught in 2006 for promoting the prostitution of a girl under 16, officials told the news outlet.
