Man Shot And Killed in Argument on Flatbush Street

FLATBUSH – A man was shot and killed following an argument on a Flatbush street last night, police confirmed.

NYPD officers received a call about a man shot outside 2415 Claredon Road last night around 9:30 pm. Arriving to the scene, they found 27-year-old Kareem Summerville unconscious and unresponsive on the ground with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said.

Summerville was transported by EMS to Kings County Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

According to police, Summerville was involved in an argument with two men on the street when one of them produced a gun and shot the victim in the stomach. The suspects then fled the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case, but an investigation is underway.
