Flatbush Avenue Street Fair Is On Sunday, June 30

The Flatbush Avenue BID’s annual street fair is coming up on Sunday, June 30 from 10am-6pm on Flatbush Avenue between Parkside Ave and Cortelyou Road. Called “A Street Fair With A Caribbean Flair,” this family-friendly event will featuring hundreds of vendors, plus rides, balloons, and music.

This year the street fair will feature various musical acts, including a traditional Haitian Rara band weaving their tunes throughout the crowd, a steel-drum band banging out beats, and a DJ with contemporary hits.

Additionally, 2,000 “free ride” coupons will be distributed during the fair. Visit the following sponsors during the fair for your chance at these tickets: Affinity Health Plan, Health Plus Amerigroup, Wellcare, the Flatbush Reformed Church, and Globe Electronics.

Flatbush Avenue will be closed to car traffic, and we’ll let you know once we hear exactly what times it will be shut down, and how the buses will be re-routed.
