Firefighters Extinguish Blaze At 512 Argyle Road

A fire broke out in the basement at 512 Argyle Road (between Ditmas Avenue and Dorchester Road) a little after 11am this morning, the FDNY told us. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control at 11:35am.

We’re not sure about the extent of the damage at the house, but we are relieved to hear there have been no injuries reported, according to the FDNY.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, fire officials said.
