Fire Breaks Out On Roof Of 18th Avenue Peruvian Eatery [Video]
A small blaze broke out in the ductwork at a popular 18th Avenue Peruvian restaurant on Tuesday.
The fire started on the roof of El Pollo III (8603 18th Avenue) at 11:54am, and it took 12 truck units and 65 firefighters to battle the flames, according to the FDNY.
The blaze was under control by 12:46pm. There were two minor injuries to firefighters, who were taken to area hospitals, say officials.
