Fire at East 21st Street Apartment Building on Saturday
A fire broke out on the 4th floor of 585 East 21st Street, at Ditmas Ave, on Saturday morning at about 9am. Thankfully there were no injuries, and the fire was under control just after 9:30.
Neighbor Edwina, who sent this photo and lives in the building, says she “spent the morning transplanted to Café Madeline for breakfast while FDNY finished up, along with a couple of neighbors.”
The FDNY says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
