Find Ways To Get Involved In Our Community At The Brooklyn Volunteer Fair
Looking for a way to get more involved in your community? Find out about a variety of volunteer opportunities at the 2015 Brooklyn Volunteer Fair on Thursday, June 4 from 5:30-8pm at the Park Slope Armory on 15th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues.
Nearly 80 organizations serving Brooklyn will be in attendance.
There will be opportunities for individuals, families, seniors, and students. And community service credit may be available to middle school, high school, and college students.
The event is sponsored by Assemblymember Jim Brennan, along with Borough President Eric Adams, City Councilmembers Brad Lander and Carlos Menchaca, Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon, State Senator Velmanette Montgomery, Community Boards 6, 7, 12 and 14, New York Methodist Hospital, and the Park Slope Civic Council.
The event is free and open to the public.
