Filming in the Neighborhood This Week

Another week, another bunch of film shoots. Watch out for the fluorescent signs when you’re trying to park in Prospect Park South this week:

First up is a project for the New York lottery, probably a commercial. There are signs up along Stratford and Westminster between Albemarle and Beverley, and on Hinkley Place from CIA to Stratford. The shoot is on Wednesday, August 8, from 6am-10pm.

The other is a project called The Following, which looks like it is a Fox drama coming out this fall starring Kevin Bacon as an FBI agent trying to hunt down a serial killer who’s escaped from death row. The show’s creator is Kevin Williamson, who brought us shows such as Dawson’s Creek and The Vampire Diaries. Signs are up along Argyle from Church to Albemarle.
