Fifth Avenue’s Habana Tapas Closing

Today’s gray skies match the mood we found ourselves in after reading the announcement Habana Tapas (685 5th Avenue, between 20th and 21st Street) made via Facebook on Thursday night.

Habana Tapas will be closing their doors tomorrow June 14th. We had an amazing run for 2 years. We made many great friends and grown through the hardships of small business as well as its blessings. We thank you all who have supported us. At this point in our life, we chose family over business. Lots of love to all.

The Cuban restaurant, which opened in August 2011, was put on the market back in October.

Best wishes to our neighbors at Habana. You will most definitely be missed.
