We miss you and how much you loved playing in the snow, Sam!

Local dog organization FIDO will be holding a gathering to celebrate the memories of our dearly departed dogs this weekend, and neighbors are invited to participate.

This Saturday, May 2, just after the regular Coffee Bark, which is a monthly event where you can meet with other local dog owners during off-leash hours from 7-9am in Prospect Park, they’ll be gathering in the Long Meadow, somewhat near the dog beach, set up with a table near a tree.

Neighbors will be welcome to share memories about your dogs, and they will read the names of dogs who’ve passed away since January 2014 — if you can’t make the event, but still want to be involved, you can send your dog’s name and a brief eulogy if you’d like to bipcar@gmail.com. You can also send pics to that address to be included on FIDO’s In Memoriam page.
